DJ Busta made his IHW debut at the first IHW taping as he teamed up with Son of Sam to take on the then World Tag Team Champions, Privacy Prefrences. DJ Busta showed much potential in his first match dispite losing to the champs. He would go on to gain a victory later in the night in a handicap tag match between the TwO and him, The Boogie Man, Johnny Extreme and Son of Sam.
DJ Busta would lose to Son of Sam in the first round of the World Title Tournament but would then go on later to take on and defeat Ricky Sicone at the August House Show at the Davis Arena.
DJ Busta would catch his break at One Night Only when he would take on Soap Boy in a first of it's kind, "Belt in a Box" match. DJ Busta would come out on top in the contest to become the first ever IHW Transcontinental Champion. He would go on to defeat the Boogie Man in the second half of One Night Only with a little help from 7Pac, who he helped win the World Heavyweight Title.
The DJ Busta, 7Pac relationship was short lived. A month after One Night Only DJ Busta and 7Pac came out on top of a tag match that won 7Pac the World Title back. But two weeks later at the second Sunday Night Suicide DJ Busta screwed 7Pac out o the title. He counted 7Pac out of the ring and awarded the World Title to Shii Clarkk, these events sparked IHW's closing.
When IHW returned the bad blood between 7Pac and DJ Busta did as well. The two did battle, along with Shii Clarkk at IHW Backstage I. DJ Busta was eliminated early on by 7Pac, this kept the blood boiling for their first ever one-on-one meeting at IHW's return event, Sunday Night Suicide, where they would meet for the Transcontinental Title.
Until then DJ Busta competed in a few death matches. One of which was in the IHW Death Match Tournament against the Green Beam, which he lost. At Friday Night Primevera DJ Busta made a short lived alignment with Da Nips. He saved Da Nips from a beat down from the Beamers and joined him in tag team action that night against 2/3 of GMX, Choo-Choo Spatula and Shii Clarkk. The two managed to come out succesful and DJ Busta went out on a win going into Sunday Night Suicide.
At Sunday Night Suicide, 7Pac and DJ Busta finally locked up, one-on-one. The two had a very hard hitting match up with 7Pac taking most of the punishment. Early on in the match up DJ Busta nearly suffered a carrer ending injury. In a very scary moment 7Pac reversed the Busta Bomb into a back body drop on the pavement but DJ Busta did not get over turned all the way and landed directly on his head. He would be fine and able to continue. DJ Busta got the better of the former two-time World Champion that night when be Busta Bombed him onto a steel chair for the win.
Later in the night DJ Busta would try to go after a World Title shot in the battle royal but would end up getting eliminated next to last. Since then DJ Busta has gone on to win the BLF Hardcore Championship which is equivelent to any federations World Title.
Another chapter in DJ Busta's carrer was written on May 27. At the special Saturday Night Suicide: World Title Tournament he faced the most opponets. He was the only one that actually ended up facing a full bracket. None the less he came out on top in the end after defeating, the returning Squirrel, Dow Jones, and finally Shii Clarkk for the World Heavyweight Title. Regardless of his triumphants in the ring in the end DJ Busta was left motionless on the mat by the IHW Chairman 7Pac. It's obvious that despite 7Pac no longer being an active competitor in IHW he will go out at any costs to keep DJ Busta from holding on to his three prestigious titles.
